Introduction

Thank you for choosing our PE gas ball valve. As a kind of pressure-bearing equipment, valves have potential pressure hazards and explosive gases generated by fluid leakage.  From the perspective of safety, users should read this manual before using it, from which it can be seen that STC has considered safety factors in design and manufacture. Consumers and operators should read this manual before installing and using the valve.

Structure of the valve

1.General

(1)The valve consists of a valve Body, an end pipe, a ball, a retainer, a stem, a seat, an adapter, etc.

(2)The body and end pipe of PE valve hold at least the pressure ratio with the connected pipes.

(3)PE valve end pipe section shall have more suitable welding performance with the connected pipes in order to meet the requirements.

(4)The components of the valve will not corrode.

2.Valve body

When the valve body is not usable, it cannot be structurally detached from the site unless special props are used.

3.Adapter

The adapter is connected to the valve stem and cannot be separated unless special tools are used. Turn the adapter clockwise to close. On the 1/4 rotary operation valve, the upper end of the operator is marked with a closing arrow, and the operation cannot be continued under the fully opened or closed state.

4.SeatThe seat and the ball, body and retainer will be driven according to the compression flow. When there are external impurities in the pipe, the rubber seat will be damaged or cause air leakage.
